The Bahco ProfCut™ PC-22-INS is a 22-inch (550mm) handsaw specifically designed for cutting insulation materials. Its innovative waved toothing (WT) provides superior performance with minimal friction and dust generation, resulting in a clean, precise cut. The re-sharpenable blade, with a thickness of 0.83mm, is comparable to standard handsaws but optimized for insulation. Unlike traditional saws, this blade is neither varnished nor powder-coated, ensuring optimal cutting efficiency. The saw features a comfortable, ergonomic two-component handle and a unique rust-protective sleeve impregnated with a Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) for long-lasting protection.

Tested on various insulation materials including mineral wool, glass wool, EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), XPS (Extruded Polystyrene), and stone wool (rock wool), the ProfCut™ delivers excellent results.
