The precision-ground base and sides minimize blade judder, while the machined seatings eliminate movement for smooth operation. A lever cap with a brass locking screw provides secure blade adjustment and easy release for sharpening. Ergonomic wooden handles and knobs enhance comfort during use, and a solid brass blade adjustment nut adds a touch of traditional craftsmanship. This plane is supplied in a protective hinged wooden storage case. Note that the blade will require honing before use.
