Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain in Mahogany is a low-build, solvent-borne semi-gloss wood stain suitable for use as both a base stain and a finishing coat. Its highly translucent nature beautifully showcases the wood grain while offering protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling, and cracking. This microporous and water-repellent stain is ideal for exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber, and fencing.

As a base stain, Cetol HLS Plus is readily absorbed, providing a solid foundation for finishing coats. It can be used alone on cladding, decking, and garden furniture or as a base before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus to windows and doors. However, it's important to note that it should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
