Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus Translucent Woodstain in Teak is a low-build, solvent-borne semi-gloss wood stain suitable for use as both a base stain and a finishing coat. Its highly translucent nature beautifully enhances the wood grain while offering protection against mould, algae, UV radiation, peeling, and cracking. This microporous and water-repellent stain is ideal for exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber, and fencing.

As a base stain, Cetol HLS Plus readily absorbs into the timber, providing an excellent foundation for finishing coats. It can be used alone as a complete system on cladding, decking, and garden furniture. Alternatively, it can serve as a base coat before applying Cetol Filter 7 Plus or Cetol THB Plus to windows and doors. However, it's crucial to note that it should not be used alone as a finish for hardwood timbers.
