The Monument 458N Tap Reseating Tool is designed to re-cut the seats of worn taps or stopcocks without the need for disconnection from the pipework. This tool is ideal for 1/2 inch taps with threaded bodies. Simply screw the tapered cones into the top of the tap body to begin the reseating process. For taps with recessed threads, a parallel bush series (sold separately) is recommended. The tool features case-hardened cutters and a feedscrew for precise cutter adjustment. All parts are interchangeable for ease of maintenance and repair.
