The Dormer F300M6X1 is a high-speed steel (HSS) adjustable split hand die designed for cutting M6 x 1.00mm ISO metric coarse threads. Its split design allows for fine adjustments in small increments (up to approximately 0.15mm), reducing cutting torque. Suitable for use with free machining and plain carbon steel, ferritic stainless steel, and various cast irons (gray, malleable, ductile, and compacted graphite). This die conforms to BS 1127:1950 standards.
