The Dormer F300M8X1 is a high-speed steel (HSS) adjustable split hand die designed for creating M8 x 1.25mm metric coarse threads. Its adjustable design allows for precise thread cutting, with small incremental adjustments possible. This hand die is suitable for use on free machining and plain carbon steel, ferritic stainless steel, and various cast irons (gray, malleable, ductile, and compacted graphite). The split design reduces cutting torque compared to solid dies. Conforms to BS 1127:1950 standards.
