The Dormer F300M2X13/16 is a high-speed steel (HSS) adjustable split hand die designed for cutting M2 x 0.4mm ISO-metric threads. Its split design allows for fine adjustments in small increments (up to approximately 0.15mm), reducing cutting torque. This die is suitable for use with free machining and plain carbon steel, ferritic stainless steel, and various cast irons (gray, malleable, ductile, and compacted graphite). Manufactured to BS 1127:1950 standards, it offers a bright (uncoated) finish for efficient threading.
