Ronseal Total Wood Preserver Clear 5 litre

Ronseal Total Wood Preserver is a general-purpose wood preserver, specially formulated to kill woodworm and prevent rot and decay. Ideal as a pre-treatment for interior wood and suitable for overpainting on both rough and smooth timber. This clear wood preserver does not waterproof and is designed for preserving indoor wood. Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from existing coatings. For decayed wood, remove all affected areas, extending at least 45cm beyond the visible damage, and replace with sound, treated timber. Apply a minimum of two coats, allowing 24 hours drying time between coats. Pay close attention to end grains, ideally treating them by dipping for complete penetration. Avoid contact with bitumen, bitumen felt, mastics, and plastics.
